2. Are international flights included?
International flights to and from India are not included in the tour price. This allows you the flexibility to select the most convenient and cost-effective flights based on your location and preferences. Kalyan Nomad is happy to provide guidance and recommendations to assist with your flight planning if needed.
3. Do I need a visa to travel to India?
Yes, a valid visa is required prior to traveling to India. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of arrival and contain at least two blank pages. Most travelers can apply easily online through the official Indian e-Visa website. We recommend submitting your application at least 2–3 weeks before departure to ensure timely processing.
4. Is travel insurance required?
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory for all Kalyan Nomad guests. Travel insurance provides essential protection in case of medical emergencies, trip interruptions, delays, or lost baggage. Proof of insurance will be required prior to the final payment to ensure your safety and peace of mind throughout the journey.
5. What are the rooming options?
We offer flexible accommodation arrangements to suit your travel preferences:
- Twin-share room at no additional cost when traveling with a companion
- Private single room available for an additional single supplement fee
- Solo travelers may be paired with another guest of the same gender, subject to mutual agreement
6. Who will be the tour leader?
Your tour leader will be Larisa, founder of Kalyan Nomad. She will accompany the group throughout the journey, ensuring smooth logistics, personalized support, and a welcoming atmosphere. Her deep connection with India and commitment to meaningful travel ensures that every guest feels comfortable, supported, and fully immersed in the experience.
7. How do we travel between destinations?
All transportation is provided in private, air-conditioned vehicles, including comfortable cars or premium minibuses, depending on group size. Most travel durations range between 2 and 6 hours. Regular comfort stops are included to allow guests to relax, enjoy scenic landscapes, and experience authentic local moments along the way. Your comfort,
